Blocks. We played with them as children and now as adults we often find ourselves suffering from them. There’s creative blocks, (writers block comes to mind for me right now) and there are blocks to our true self and our paths in life.
And like the Lego’s of our childhood, the longer they stay in place, the harder they are to take apart. That’s when they tend to manifest into the physical. Not allowing love or fear of true self love for instance. That very often becomes a disorder of the heart. Heart chakras blocked eventually turn into heart dis-ease. Currently America’s number one killer.
We tend to stack more behind our own personal blocks. Blocks of emotional insecurity often lead to not expressing emotion.
But spirit has a wonderful tool for this. It’s called our voice. I often say “If we are an instrument of God, then why aren’t we making any noise?” Look at it this way. How many of were told as children to be seen and not heard? How many of us are now guilty of telling our children the exact same thing. Our busy schedules often stop the big news of the day from our young ones. We don’t have or make time as we are too focused on what is coming or “what if”. It can be difficult to move forward on “what if” energy. It’s like sailing without a good constant breeze.
So here it is in a nut shell… we aren’t able to grow and move into the future by blocks from our past. Yet we are living in the future and therefore don’t have time for the present. Confused?
Yeah me too.
So let’s start listening. To our own hearts at first. Just stay still and wait for the sound of your own heartbeat. Pretty soon we can hear Mother Earth slowly rumbling beneath our feet. We can listen as the trees talk, the birds sing. Then, if we can just take a moment, we can listen to our children, family, friends and neighbors. What will happen then?
I predict that those blocks will fall.
Food for thought
